Mesters Lake

The main lake is a stunning mature sand pit of 19 acres. Although the vast majority of members fish it for carp, it is an excellent mixed fishery. There are approximately 140 carp of which in excess of 50% are 20lb plus, the lake has 5 known fish which exceed 30lb, usually pre spawning and autumn. There are good head of specimen tench to over 10lb, bream to 15lb plus, specimen rudd, pike and roach, there is also a small head of catfish to 50lb plus.
